American shoppers should always remember to go a size up for any clothing overseas. That being said, this blouse was "True to Size" for my XL frame. The fabric is listed as polyester, but it felt like a chiffon blend. I am a D cup, and did not feel any tightness whatsoever that would obstruct the chest or armpit area. I do, however, suffer thyroid issues and have a far wider neck than most and the very top collar could not wrap around comfortably on me. That is a very specific and unique case, so I don't imagine anyone else with a similar XL build should have any issues with the collar being too tight. The ribbon on the front collar is a separate piece that can be attached with a bobby pin. Considering this is an Ouji piece, I imagine it's for the versatility of the style (if you want a more effeminate or cleaner look). The blouse also does NOT include the little chains on the wrists. But they look like lapel pins to me and could be purchased elsewhere to complete the featured look.
